Small-District Special Education Partnership

Your district needs the expertise. The workload may not require another full-time position.

Starting at $3,500 per month · Scope and responsibilities agreed before services begin.

Small districts still need thoughtful special education support—even when the workload doesn’t neatly fill a full-time position.

This partnership offers a way to bring in experienced support for defined needs, with a scope that reflects your students, staffing, and program. The goal is to make better use of district time and resources while giving the adults doing the work clearer direction.

I work alongside your team to understand where support is getting stretched, clarify priorities, and connect planning to what happens in classrooms.

What the partnership may include

Depending on the agreed scope, the partnership may include:

  • Classroom observation and practical recommendations.
  • Behavior systems planning and refinement.
  • Teacher and paraprofessional coaching.
  • Coordination around student-support plans.
  • Scheduled progress reviews and implementation follow-up.

Why this model

A full-time hire comes with a full-time commitment. A focused service partnership lets your district define the expertise and capacity it needs, understand the cost, and establish clear responsibilities.

That can mean less staff time spent piecing together disconnected support and a more intentional use of the people and resources already in place. Potential savings depend on the district’s needs and the scope of the partnership.

How we begin

We start with a conversation about your students, current staffing, recurring needs, and the work that needs an owner. Before beginning, we agree on responsibilities, professional capacity, onsite and virtual support, travel, communication, and review points.

This partnership supplements district capacity. Any direct instruction, IEP case-management duties, or other responsibilities requiring specific credentials and district authorization must be explicitly reviewed and agreed upon. It does not automatically replace required staff or services.
