One recurring situation. A closer look. A workable plan.
You’ve tried things. Your team has observations. You need help bringing them together and deciding what to work on next. This focused consultation cycle supports one student situation through review, observation, collaborative planning, and follow-up, with a defined endpoint.
How we work through it
My five-step teaching approach guides our work. We connect what is happening to practical choices your team can understand, teach, and review.
Real Classroom Moment
Bring the recurring interaction into focus through your team’s observations, relevant information, and classroom observation.
Challenge the Thinking
Separate what happened from the assumptions attached to it, and examine the adult responses and available support.
Explain the System
Understand a relevant framework or routine and why it may fit the need.
Model the Response
Work through examples of what the approach can look and sound like for your setting.
Build Your Plan
Clarify practical next steps, responsibilities, and what to review during follow-up.
A focused cycle, with clear boundaries
The working structure includes intake and records review, observation, analysis and recommendations, a collaborative discussion, and follow-up. Exact deliverables, time allocation, scheduling, travel, and information-sharing arrangements are confirmed before booking. This is not an open-ended support agreement, emergency coverage, or a replacement for qualified assessment, district procedures, or IEP/BIP team decisions.
